(17,515 posts)They said they would send an update as to time and location, which I have not received.
Reading the Northam campaign site they don't mention these email tickets, only that if you were preregistered you need to pickup your ticket on Tuesday (yesterday) and that there are a limited number.
I've attempted to clarify with them my ticket status, but haven't heard back other than an automatic response. Is there anyone on DU who knows if these emailed ticket numbers are valid for entry?

(17,515 posts)Even though they say bring this email for admission, a later email changes this. I saw one that another ticket holder received at 1:28 pm Tuesday saying go to the box office in Richmond at 5 pm that day. I did not receive this later email. I would have been physically unable to stand in line for hours in Richmond, Tuesday, even if I had known I needed to, and even if I would have been able to blow off a customer. The campaign hasn't responded to my email and the link in my ticket email just leads to information about getting tickets at the box office and doesn't mention the email tickets at all.
I can understand that demand outstripped venue size and that campaign event coordination is like herding cats.
I'm perturbed about how poorly this is being handled, but that is all. I am also worried about peoples' reactions who got the email tickets and show up this evening and can't get in.
