A three-year-old red panda at the Virginia Zoo is now a mom of five.
Masu, who came from the Denver Zoo in 2017, gave birth to two boys and a girl on June 18 at the zoo's Animal Wellness Campus, the zoo said Monday in a news release.
Their father is a four-year-old red panda named Timur who has fathered all five of Masu's cubs, including the two she had last June
Adam and Freddie.
The newest members of their family who are nameless at the moment weighed about five ounces at birth. They now weigh just over a pound.
