Related: About this forumSentencing hearing is underway for the last of DeAndre Harris' Aug. 12 attackers that were charged.
Charlottesville
Tyler Davis of Middleburg, FL is the last one. He is the one who came up and hit Harris in the head after he was down and likely inflicted the most serious wound. His hearing began at one pm today.
There are several people I'm following who are in the courtroom and will tweet after it is over.
Nothing in the news yet. I'll respond to this post with an update when there is one.

the defense has said theyll also ask the judge to consider allowing any additional sentence imposed to be served on home electronic monitoring, citing davis exemplary conduct over the last year.

another recess now after the defenses presentation of evidence before they call their witnesses. they plan to call two family members to present character testimony, as well as play video testimony from davis son who could not be here.

to be specific, judge moore imposed a sentence of 10 years with 7yrs, 2mo suspended. he also got credit for the 3 months he served in jail in early 2018 and half of the year he served on home electronic monitoring, crediting 9 months toward the 2yr, 10mo active sentence.
