Man in his 80s is 2nd in Snohomish County to die from virus
STANWOOD — A second person has died from coronavirus in Snohomish County, the Snohomish Health District confirmed Wednesday.
The victim was a man in his 80s connected to the Josephine Caring Community Center in Stanwood, the health district said.
The first fatality was a man in his 40s with underlying health conditions who died March 2. He was the parent of a student at Mariner High School near Everett. The student was not reported to be ill.
There have been 68 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the county, the health district said in a daily release of data Wednesday.
