EVERETT — A sailor assigned to the USS Ralph Johnson at Naval Station Everett has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

The sailor tested positive on March 16 and has been isolating at home.

Those who have had contact with the person have been notified and are being monitored, according to a news release from the U.S. Pacific Fleet.

The Navy is not releasing specific information about when the sailor was last on base or aboard ship. The USS Ralph Johnson has had “extensive cleaning,” according to the release.
