QFC, Fred Meyer to help administer COVID-19 vaccine in Washington
QFC and Fred Meyer plan to help administer the COVID-19 vaccine in Washington, the company announced Monday.
The announcement comes as the state received its first shipment of the Pfizer vaccine and is preparing to start rolling it out to high-risk groups.
“QFC works to feed the human spirit and we are excited to be able to offer this vaccine to our associates and customers in the very near future.” WFC pharmacist Chuck Paulsen said.
The stores will be working in partnership with state health departments and the federal government to help administer the vaccine when it becomes more widely available.
