Western Washington slowly thawing out with possibility of urban flooding

After a snowy weekend, the weather in Western Washington has changed to rain, with temps in the low-30s.

There is still some snow and freezing rain and breezy conditions in the foothills.

Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for the foothills and western Whatcom County until 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Main roads should be fine for driving, but the side roads and neighborhoods are still covered in compact snow and icy slush.

The roads are thawing out but the ice did a lot of damage to power lines.
