Seattle Mariners to take part in MLB's 'Vaccinate at the Plate' campaign, offer free tickets

The Seattle Mariners are joining teams across the country in MLB's "Vaccinate at the Plate," an initiative to encourage gamegoers to get their COVID-19 vaccine.

As a reward for participating in the program, fans who get vaccinated at Mariners games at T-Mobile Park will get a free pair of tickets to a future game and a $20 Amazon gift card. The program beings June 14.

Vaccines have been available at Mariners games since May 4. Seattle Fire Department EMS workers, along with representatives from Virginia Mason, have administered about 1,200 doses at the park.

Vaccines are available at Edgar's Home Run Porch on the main concourse in left field. All three iterations of the vaccine — Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson — will all be available to fans 12 and older. Second doses will be available to fans who have already received their first dose of either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine and can show their proof of vaccination.
