Outreach worker says homeless camp near Seattle school will be cleared

BITTER LAKE, Wash. - It’s been one week since homeless outreach group "Anything Helps" started working with the homeless on Seattle Public Schools property behind Broadview Thomson K-8 School.

The district has partnered with the group to have the camp removed by the time schools starts in September.

The encampment has been growing for more than year and is currently home to 56 people.

Neighbors say the camp has increased drugs and crime in the community.
