Thousands gather in Olympia to protest Washington's vaccine, mask mandates

OLYMPIA, Wash. – Several thousand people gathered in Olympia Saturday to protest one of the strictest vaccine mandates in the country.

Earlier this month, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee ordered state employees and healthcare works to get vaccinated by Oct. 18 or face termination. Last week, he expanded the order to also include all school employees.

There will be no personal exemptions, but employees can apply for religious exemption.

Several other local governments in Washington have also issued vaccine mandates for their employees including Thurston County, King County, and the City of Seattle.

5. One thing I have learned

is that they do not care about people other than themselves. They should be in quarantine for their beliefs and unwillingness to do their part. They are clogging the hospitals so that non-Covid patients cannot get the care they need. They just do not care.

If you refuse to get vaccinated, and you end up needing to be hospitalized for covid, your priority goes to "last in line".
