Sounder Service Potential Cancellations 9/16 N Line & S Line
In the event of a national rail strike, Sounder N Line (Everett - Seattle) and S Line (Lakewood - Seattle) service may be canceled beginning Friday, September 16 until workers return. Sounder will operate regular service through Thursday, September 15.
Sounder trains are operated and dispatched by BNSF Railway employees under contract on tracks owned by BNSF.
Sound Transit is working with its partners to add additional bus service on existing ST Express routes that overlap with Sounder where possible.
Regularly scheduled bus service includes:
Everett to Seattle: ST Express 510 / 512
Mukilteo to Seattle: CT 417
Edmonds to Seattle: CT 416
