Why isn't Joe Kennedy back coaching at Bremerton High School?

The Bremerton High School Knights are now one-third of the way through their football season and former coach Joe Kennedy is still not back with the district after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on his case in June saying the coach’s sideline prayers after football games did not violate prior rulings against teacher-led religious activities in public schools.

So why is Kennedy not yet back in the district, coaching? This case is now back into some legal wrangling.

Kennedy is currently traveling the country. He spoke at Harding University's American Studies Institute in Arkansas Thursday night and is scheduled to speak at the Salt & Light Christian conference in North Carolina over the weekend, along with his attorney Jeremy Dys.
