55-year-old man charged for throwing rocks, causing damage to cars on SR 900
A55-year-old man accused of throwing rocks at cars on state Route 900 in Renton is also being accused of pointing a gun at passing cars. He was charged previously with disorderly conduct and obstructing a law enforcement officer after being arrested and released in August.
Shawn L. Perantie is accused of causing more than $2,200 in damage and was arrested on Tuesday.
A judge found probable cause for two counts of malicious mischief and two counts of reckless endangerment on Wednesday. Perantie was officially charged on Thursday.
One man told KIRO 7 that his 2015 Stingray Corvette was hit by a person back in July. He was going eastbound on SR 900.
