New storm head to Whatcom, with strong wind and snow. Here's when

Dec. 7—Wind and rain return for a typical late fall storm, bringing the possibility of scattered power outages in Whatcom County and snow in the mountains.

A wind advisory is in effect from 10 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, to 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, according to the National Weather Service in Seattle.

Southeast winds are expected at 20 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph, along with rain.

Daytime temperatures will be in the mid-40s with overnight lows in the mid-30s.
