Delta shaves Seattle flights to Mexico as fuel costs climb

Delta Air Lines is dialing back service between Seattle and Mexico starting in June and through the fall.

Delta is halting some service to Cancun, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta between June and November, the airline said in a statement Tuesday, becoming the latest airline to reduce flights from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport as elevated fuel prices amid the U.S. war in Iran raise costs for airlines.

Here are Delta's planned service cuts:

Seattle to Cancun: Unavailable from June 2 through Nov. 8. Scheduled to resume Nov. 9.
Seattle to Los Cabos: Unavailable from July 1 to Nov. 8. Saturday-only from June 2 to June 30.
Seattle to Puerto Vallarta: Unavailable from Oct. 6 to Nov. 8. Scheduled to resume Nov. 9.
