Pike Place Market Free Speech Area

A great place to register voters or to network:

Many of you know about the Pike Place Market’s Free Speech Space that is available Monday through Saturday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm and on Sundays from 11:00 until 5:00 pm.

But for those you don’t, here is more information:

The space is underneath the pergola east of the existing performer spot and directly adjacent to the information Booth along Pike Place.

The space is available for no charge.

In order to reserve the space, the group representative must call the Pike Place Market Preservation and Development Authority at 206-682-7453 to inquire about reservations.

Groups shall be permitted to display literature, collect signatures, and have conversations.

Groups shall be limited to no more than 3 people at the table at one time.

Groups must provide their own table and chairs.

Space is available on a first come/first serve basis to individuals and groups.

Only donations to organized political or charitable entities are permitted.

If you will be accepting donations on behalf of a political or non-profit organization, the PDA must verify the non-profit status of that organization prior to your first scheduled day.
