Bats with White nose Syndrome discovered in Washington

White-Nose Syndrome, a deadly disease that has killed millions of bats on the East Coast has had it first case discovered here in Washington:
Please, for those that camp, hike or fish, if you see a dead or dying bat, DO NOT TOUCH IT, with a whitish nose, please contact the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife with the location and how many dead or dying bats were observed.

but thanks for posting as we are headed to the Cascades in a couple weeks. We always see bats where we are headed.
