Trump to visit Seattle for fundraiser, rally

Spokespeople for Donald Trump say the Republican presidential candidate plans to visit the Seattle area for a combined fundraiser and rally.

State Senator Don Benton, state chair of Trump's campaign, says his next trip will be sometime in late August to King County at a location yet to be determined. The visit will be a combined fundraising effort and public rally. He may also plan a second visit.

"We absolutely know that Mr. Trump has committed to me, personally that he will be here," said Benton. "He was so well received when he visited Spokane and Lynden; he's really looking forward to seeing the people of Washington again."

The visit is one of several West Coast stops for the Trump Victory campaign, according to The Washington Post. Trump will visit Napa, Calif., San Francisco, Seattle and Portland from August 29 to 31. The Trump Victory is a joint fundraising committee that raises money for Trump, the RNC and 11 state party committees.

So how many goons are you bringing with you? No Republican Presidential nominee has held a rally in Seattle since Reagan.

He was in Oregon yesterday and his chances of carrying either state are vanishingly tiny.
