Powerful interests opposed to religion are mounting "a new religious war" on traditional believers with Washington a prime front, charges the longtime state legislator who now heads the Family Policy Institute of Washington.
What ex-State Sen. Mark Miloscia calls the "Nones" (people with no religious affiliation) have "conquered and radicalized the Democratic Party, news media, Hollywood, government and Academia." They have declared war on "longtime enemies -- faithful Christians, Orthodox Jews and Muslims."
Miloscia, a former Air Force pilot and devout Catholic, served 18 years in the Legislature, 14 as a Democrat and the last four as a Republican State Senator from the 30th District in south King County.
He was one of the few Democrats in Olympia to vote No in 2012 when the Legislature approved marriage equality.

Oh bullshit. Most of us none believers could care less what the religionists do.
It's only when they try to push their belief system on us that we object.
