Mother, toddler among 4 gunshot victims in southeast Seattle shooting
Four gunshot victims, including a mother and her child, were hospitalized after a shooting Monday evening in southeast Seattle, according to officials.
Two of the patients were in critical condition as of 10 p.m. including a 27-year-old woman and her son who was under the age of 2, Harborview Medical Center spokesperson Susan Gregg said in an email. A third victim, an 8-year-old boy was upgraded from critical to serious condition a little after 10 p.m. and a 10-year-old girl was reported in satisfactory condition.
The shots rang out just after 7 p.m. Monday at Pritchard Island Beach, the Seattle Police Department said in a statement. The shots came from two groups of people in the parking lot, witnesses told police.
