Double Murder In Boone County

Police in Boone County are looking for a man in connection with the deaths of his wife and mother-in-law at a house in the Bloomingrose area.

Boone County Sheriff Rodney Miller tells MetroNews Timothy Parsons, 36, of Comfort, is a suspect in the deaths of Leigh Anne Kinder-Parsons, 35, of Bloomingrose and her mother, Sue Kinder, 62, of Lexington, Kentucky.

Miller says it appears the women died of stab wounds. "It appears they had some wounds around their neck areas that attributed to their deaths," Miller said.

The sheriff says a teenage girl, Parsons' stepdaughter, was sexually assaulted. He says it appears she was tied up and was able to free herself and ran for help sometime after Parsons left the residence.

Boone County Sheriff Rodney Miller said Timmy Parsons, 36, of Comfort, was found by Boone and Kanawha county sheriff's deputies at a makeshift camp behind Dupont Middle School and arrested without incident. "We got him about 3:35 this morning," Miller said.

...

Authorities found Parsons' 2004 Ford Mustang near Slaughter's Creek, and believed he was traveling on foot. Miller said they got a tip he was in the Rand area, and discovered him behind the middle school where he had apparently decided to bed down.

I'm glad he was found before school started today. I hate to think what might have happened with a full middle school in session.
