Plain Talk: Scott Walker wouldn't dare lecture Minnesota

http://host.madison.com/ct/news/opinion/column/dave_zweifel/plain-talk-scott-walker-wouldn-t-dare-lecture-minnesota/article_97678be3-08ea-5e87-8c9e-928164d0b1d9.html

Perhaps it's because Wisconsin government is starting to emulate Illinois' with all those John Doe probes swirling around that our governor, Scott Walker, saw fit recently to lecture our neighbors to the south on how they should go about "fixing" their state.

No, he wasn't advising them about the corruption Illinois government is famous for — he knew better since his own campaign apparatus is being investigated for the second time in as many years — but rather how Illinois and Chicago should eviscerate their public employee unions like he did. Wisconsin is so much better off — unemployment is down, schools are improving, property taxes are down — because of his "tough decisions," Walker boasted.

You've got to give this guy an A-plus not only for chutzpah, but for concocting fairy tales.

Our governor went so far in his Chicago Tribune guest column as to suggest that Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, President Barack Obama's former chief of staff and longtime Democratic congressman from Chicago's north side, could become the "Democrats' Scott Walker" if he'd just put the Chicago teachers union in its place.

"Thanks to collective bargaining, Chicago's kids are continuing to get the shaft," he wrote.

both the republicans and democrats refusal to properly fund the pension system.

rahm is a democrat because it is the only way he could be elected to any office in chicago. he has the blessing of the families and the 1% that control illinois politics.

the teachers union and the parents told him to go fuck himself so he shut down schools and selling some off to his developer friends. walker and rahm are just alike...they listen to thier masters voice.
