A late season winter storm will affect the area Thursday afternoon
through Friday evening. Heavy snow is likely across north central
Wisconsin... with the possibility of an ice storm from central to
northeast Wisconsin. The east central portion of Wisconsin is the
most difficult to forecast at this time... as temperatures will be
very close to freezing. Some ice accumulation is likely in the Fox
Valley and Lake Michigan shore but amounts will depend on surface
temperatures.

Anyone with travel plans Thursday and Friday should monitor the
latest forecasts and statements for updated information. While not
a certainty at this point... utilities and transportation officials
should plan for the possibility of an ice storm from central to
northeast Wisconsin and heavy wet snow across the north central
portion of the state.

Aghhhhhhhhhhh ...enough all ready.

that it's time to get the hell out of town. I had 5" of heavy, wet snow a couple of days ago, and I hope that's the last I see of it for a while. A LONG while.
