State GOP To Vote On Affirming Wisconsin's Right To Secede

CATHERINE THOMPSON – APRIL 14, 2014, 8:26 AM EDT
Wisconsin Republicans will vote at their convention next month on a proposal affirming the state's right to go it alone, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Daniel Bice reported Monday.

The state party's Resolutions Committee has voted in favor of a so-called "state sovereignty" measure stating the party "supports legislation that upholds Wisconsin's right, under extreme circumstances, to secede," according to the Journal-Sentinel. The resolution came out of one of the state party's regional caucuses and was edited and adopted by the committee despite top GOP officials' efforts to quash it.

precisely the level of lunacy these idiots have reached. While I'm sure they would love Teagahnistan or The Teadan, we fought a war over this secessionist bullshit and those wanting to go it there own, at a time before anything close to the national cohesiveness we enjoy now, didn't fare too well. I doubt strongly that secession would be met with anything but a firm kick in the ass from the Federal government to the offenders. Love it, leave it, or work to change it through the democratic process, but you don't get to take our land and treasure with you. (I feel like such a warmonger saying that, but I think it would be the reality of it.)

Let the voters know, a vote for the pukes is a vote for Civil War II - similar but shittier story from the first one. Sequels almost always suck the bag.

I don't get why they keep having their convention here in Milwaukee.

They effin' hate Milwaukee. They've done everything in their power to screw Milwaukee, and Milwaukeeans. And now they have their convention here? Why? Just to rub it in?

Gerrymandering dirtbags. I hope word of this secessionist BS gets spread far and wide. Let folks know that our WIGOP is at least as crazy as the TXGOP, or MIGOP, etc.
