So, the judicial assistant to US District Judge Rudolph Randa (who killed the John Doe investigation and ordered all copies of records related to the investigation permanently destroyed) is Cary Biskupic. She is married to Steven Biskupic, a top lawyer for Walkers campaign. What a sordid mess. Randa has an "interesting" history:
Randa has presided over several politically charged matters, including the 2007 jury trial of Georgia Thompson, a former member of Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle's administration.
Then-U.S. Attorney Steven Biskupic had charged Thompson with allegedly steering a travel contract to a Doyle campaign contributor. After she was convicted, Randa ordered her immediately imprisoned. But the 7th Circuit threw out the conviction, immediately releasing Thompson from custody. Judge Diane Wood had called the evidence against Thompson "beyond thin."

From The Nation:
Interestingly, it turns out that Randas judicial assistant, Cary Biskupic, is married to a top lawyer for Walkers campaign, which raises potential concerns about impropriety....
... Campaign finance statements show that Friends of Scott Walker paid Steven Biskupics law firm $86,000 in legal fees. Moreover, Biskupic has been intimately involved in this probecourt papers revealed that in February, Biskupic was named as an attorney in a state case challenging the investigation into illegal coordination.

Maybe it's all just a big coincidence and Randa didn't even realize who Cary Biskupic is married to...

Banana republic is a political science term for a politically unstable country whose economy is largely dependent on exporting a limited-resource product, e.g. bananas. It typically has stratified social classes, including a large, impoverished working class and a ruling plutocracy of business, political, and military elites;[1] this politico-economic oligarchy controls the primary-sector productions to exploit the country's economy.[2]

(17,064 posts)Investigate the assistant and her husband. Suppoena emails and see if their was coordination between Walker and judge. And it sounds like the judge should be investigated. Dont wait for Holder... we know he isnt going to do shit.

(3,974 posts)As Scuba pointed out, here in Wisconsin we are victims of a corrupt administration, legislature, and court system. The radical Republicans don't even have to pretend they are are legitimate- they control everything. It's like we're prisoners on some sort of giant pirate ship and nobody can rescue us. I really think the level of corruption here is far worse than people realize.
