Gov. Scott Walker's legal bill for John Doe probe: $650,000 and prosecutors closed investigation?

"In response, Walker shut down his legal defense fund Friday after making final payments to the lawyers who assisted him during the nearly three-year investigation.

Walker's total legal tab due to the John Doe probe: $650,000. Prosecutors closed the case without bringing charges against the governor or anyone in his current administration.

"With the conclusion of the legal process and no further cooperation with the Milwaukee County district attorney's office requested, the closure of the Scott Walker Legal Trust was completed today," said Nicole Tieman, spokeswoman for the Walker campaign.

The first-term Republican governor opened his legal defense fund just over a year ago, shortly after prosecutors brought charges against several of his former aides from his time as Milwaukee County executive."

So Kelly goes to jail. Court shuts down April hearings. And that was expensive! So all that third party pay to play stuff is alright now?
