One person thrown on the floor by a cop, two of the Raging Grannies arrested... I lost count of the number of arrests - probably another 20 or so.

It felt strange and even more stressed than normal today.

But the singing sounded awesome.

8. Today was tense

Not a good day. 20 arrests, I believe. Lots of pushing by the cops - particularly of the press and others videoing. Tourists and a legislator threatened with arrest if they stayed and OBSERVED!

10. This is out-of-control....

There doesn't seem to be any way to reign in the capitol security types and the (republican) legislators themselves are blocking any attempt to change the law..in fact, they are cheering the capitol police on in these horrible efforts..

9. I can't understand how a cop can arrest innocent folks & go to sleep at night "all in a day's work"

How can they treat Mothers, Good Peeps, Elderly, Teachers, etc. like that???? I simply cannot "get this"!!
