George Osborne is among 46 former colleagues and allies rewarded in David Cameron's resignation honours list.
The former chancellor has been made a Companion of Honour, while Tory MPs Oliver Letwin and Patrick McLoughlin are among those who have been knighted.
Mr Cameron's ex-spin doctor Craig Oliver and Samantha Cameron's adviser Isabel Spearman are also on the list.
The SNP called the list "a form of personal patronage"; Lib Dem leader Tim Farron said it was "full of cronies".

Otherwise pretty much what you'd expect from Mr. "I-thought-I'd-be-good-at-it" as he exits stage right to spend more time with his money.

The latest Private Eye reports that they're incensed by their omission because they've been shamelessly sucking up to Cameron for years, and held off following the prevailing view among their readers by endorsing Leave until just two days before the vote.
Cue a flurry of headlines such as "David Cameron's resignation honours list shows he just doesn't care what people think of him", "Honours system is a symbol of very British corruption, says Steve Hilton" and "Former PM David Cameron facing MPs' inquiry after resignation honours list is published that would 'embarrass a medieval court'".

I did note Will Straw getting a CBE. Presume it would have been at least an OBE if "Remain" had won. Lots of noise currently being made about Corbyn's nomination of Shami Chakravarti for a peerage, although personally I think that she will be an excellent addition to the Lords.
