Call for assitance from London DUers (cross-post)
In short, I am up for a position in London with a very quick turnaround time, ie. they need somebody to start last week. *IF* the position is offered, I will need to make a decision about moving to London very quickly and I will likely need to be on a plane by the end of next week. And I am freaking out.
If there are any UK DUers willing to give some advice about the logistics of moving to London - finding a flat, obtaining utilities, getting around, not moving into a dodgy neighborhood, etc. - please PM me. This may well all come to nothing, as I am one of five finalists, but if it is offered I need as many ducks in a row as possible. Or at least the terror of the thing mitigated.
