Eyewitness on huge fire at Tradpak in Leeds industrial estate

A huge fire on an industrial estate in Leeds has sent flames and a large plume of smoke up over the city.

Crews battled the blaze at chemical recycling firm Tradpak in Armley, which broke out at 01:50 BST.

Gemma Rathbone was woken by loud explosions, telling the BBC: "We could see this massive, massive fire, all this smoke pouring out and the explosions were still going on so there were kind of like fireballs and we could see the flames jumping up. It was just huge".

West Yorkshire Police said it was now investigating the cause of the blaze.

It seems that no one was killed or injured by the fire (good thing it happened at night); but smoke from a chemical recycling firm doesn't sound great. Hoping that everyone in the area stays safe!
