Too many UKIP candidates seem to have something seriously wrong with them. Yikes.

Julia Gasper is local to me. She is a ranting homophobe, who was kicked out of UKIP for it - you know someone's a RW nut when they are too RW and nutty even for Farage. She is now an English Democrat - despite the name, it's a far-RW party. She has a D.Phil from Oxford University in English Literature, which shows that, alas, not all far-RW-ers are fools or uneducated. She is just pure ugh on two legs!

Another far right faction standing everywhere in England at this year's Euro elections. Their main achievement was getting Peter Davies elected mayor of Doncaster, before he left the party.

The Enlish Democrats have been the beneficiaries of mass defections from the BNP in this area, which tells you all you really need to know about them.

Politicians from Britain’s three main political parties should be hanged and their voters tried for treason, a Ukip candidate has said.

Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrat politicians have committed Britain to “slavery inside the EU dictatorship” and should be punished by death, Gordon Ferguson told prospective voters in a letter delivered ahead of Thursday's council elections.

Anybody who votes for those parties is “guilty by association of treason against our nation”, he added.

Mr Ferguson wrote: “The Lib-Lab-Cons have conspired with a foreign power, the EU, and are all thereby guilty of treason. They have sold Britain, which is the fifth largest economy, illegally into increasing slavery inside the EU dictatorship. Those responsible should be hung by the neck until dead.” He went on: “As likely as not, however, they will never be brought to account because our senior police, Crown Prosecution Service and judges are almost all exclusively freemasons, and Britain’s courts have been utterly corrupt for many years.
