Conservative Election Leaflet Reminds Voters About 'Erection Day'

It is always a good idea to have a second glance at your election leaflets before sending them out, especially in such a tight election and with only two days to go until polling day. At least the Tory candidate for Rochford and Southend East and Foreign Office minister, James Duddridge, has kept his sense of humour.

Once there was a news item about how the French parliament were waiting to decide on some issue 'until after their general erections' - which, given the tomcat behaviour of some French leaders, might be plausible!

Perhaps Mr. Bright has learned something from the MP Chris Kelly:

Since it's likely that the election will result in No Overall Control, the Tories and Labour then have to erect a pile of votes to get anything done should they wish to form a government.
