It is always a good idea to have a second glance at your election leaflets before sending them out, especially in such a tight election and with only two days to go until polling day. At least the Tory candidate for Rochford and Southend East and Foreign Office minister, James Duddridge, has kept his sense of humour.

(41,205 posts)Once there was a news item about how the French parliament were waiting to decide on some issue 'until after their general erections' - which, given the tomcat behaviour of some French leaders, might be plausible!
