This is a week old, but I don't think it's been posted before. I have to admit that I am not absolutely delighted at the idea of a huge, faraway, non-democratic country having a key role in British nuclear power investment.

(14,737 posts)Is partially decommissioned and IIRC hasn't produced electricity for over 10 years.
If safety issues are properly addressed and the deal isn't too much in the overseas investors favour then I would be in favour of this.
