Just removed McAfee and installed window essentials

Now I can not load any page with any media content.
Any suggestions?

1. Install Revo Uninstaller and do a THOROUGH uninstall of McAfee.

McAfee sets up a lot of conflicts with other security software, and buries little bits of itself all over in config files and start files etc. Sometimes (almost always) an ordinary Windows uninstall misses those bits.

The issue might also be conflicts with your browser, so try uninstalling and reinstalling the browser itself, and be sure its settings are not configured to rely on McAfee for security.

I would also install a free version of both Spybot Search and Destroy, and MalwareBytes, and run them afterwards, and use their cleanup utilities to ensure that unwanted crap is completely gone.

After that, with Windows Security Essentials, Spybot, and MB, you should be pretty secure if your browsing habits are safe.
