where did Windows DVD Maker go?
I upgraded to 10 and what? I can't burn a dvd any more? They did away with this? Why?
What do people use now to burn DVDs? Am I the only one that still does this?

(2,805 posts)They bundle other programs into the installer to help defray costs. Read the screens carefully during install so you can opt out of unwanted programs.
CDBurnerXP is another good burning software (same warning about installer). It's interface is a bit clearer if you are burning lots of files to a single DVD.
I use both.

Works very well..... but they recommend you should still read the screens just in case it misses any.

(2,805 posts)I've used it in the past but don't usually bother with it. I generally go to MajorGeeks for free software downloads. But I always read the screens so I don't get a Yahoo toolbar or some such.
