You can now lose your Google-account without further reprieve for spamming in a Youtube-livechat.



A guy had a livestream. He asked his viewers to spam emojis in the livechat.

As a result, those viewers lost their Google-account. Not just their Youtube-account. Their whole Google-account. Without explanation. Without a chance to appeal.

The pattern shows that these people weren't banned by an automated system. There are actually people at Google looking at these cases and thinking "yup, that's a bannable offense."

When asked WTF has happened, Google sent an automated reply that the take the review-process very seriously and that there is nothing they can do.

Google's model of "free" for consumers has some serious downsides. If you were a paying customer, there would be real people you could talk with when there are problems.
