Reporting a little bug posting on my iphone when

I'm away from home.

DU4 asks me to sign in every time and the Stay Signed In Box is Checked but It doesn't Stay Signed in. If I leave DU to do something else when I come back I have to Sign In Again.

It didn't used to do that so I know something's wrong.

Thank you for your Help!!

Did you add an extension?
I haven't found the "stay signed in" box to do anything. I just stay signed in until cookies are cleared or some rare event.

I never synched safari settings across devices via iCloud. That might be a factor. I can't say.

You know, perhaps there's some extension that clears cookies from a site when you close its tab. Sounds like your DU cookie(s) are being cleared when you leave the tab. My experience is that it remembers my login even when I quit safari.

Another browser?

I have no idea what you're saying.

I haven't ever had anything to do with "cookies". Except when a website says something about them and I Allow it so I can read the article.

Like I said it didn't used to do that with DU3 and I don't think with DU4 until just recently.

As you can imagine it's annoying.

TY!

As LearnedHand suggests,

check if you are in private mode. That would explain it and I rarely, if ever, use it, so I didn't think of it.

There are things that are hard to see and easy to punch by mistake.

Good luck.

I click on a post to "open in new tab." Then, I have to sign in all over again even though I also click the Stay Signed In box. Didn't do that before. And, this is on my Mac mini not my iPhone!

Be sure you've opened Start Page and not Private before navigating to DU.

And by "do that" I mean it won't keep you logged in when you navigate away from the site.
