when i am not logged into the main page of du, when i do log in , how come do some stories dissapear off

main page when logged int? thank goodness for web history.

There is a black line heading on my home page that is labeled "starting within." Maybe the default for when you are not signed in and the setting for when you are signed in are different? Just guessing, of course.
