Dual boot with Vista
Wine will not install. Tells me I am missing some necessary files. Where do I get those from?
The default picture viewer lockups after reaching the last picture.
Double clicking on a second or subsequent song to play it, locks up the default music player. (any music file type) Other music players will not work then either. I have to reboot to play music again.
Both the picture and music problem are deal breakers.

Ubuntu doesn't really work for me any more. Anything up to 10.x mostly did.

Never mind. I got fed up and removed it. Ubuntu used to just work. It doesn't seem to any more.
