Need help viewing non-USA videos.

"The video you are trying to watch cannot be viewed from your location".

Says Al-Jazeera video site
and often BBC sites.

Ok..is there a Firefox app/workaround for this?
I hate censorship, hate it.....hate it!

Thank you in advance...

I do not need video streaming like Netflix or Hulu, cause our ISP is too damn slow.
But I want to download stuff that I can watch later in my own player.

Actually, a surprising amount of stuff is available on YouTube, I have found.

It definitely is an IP thing. (I get blocked from some Canada sites when trying to view videos. Discovery-Canada is one, for example.)

If you can "fool" the server with an IP from the host country, I betcha it would work.

Have had several other reasons to consider using one.
NOt being able to view NEWS videos from BBC or AJ really ticks me off.

I know there were ways to download the videos and then watch them later.

I just tried the FF addon MediaHint and it seemed to allow streaming of BBC. It allowed me access to a few radom shows that would not play if I tried them in a browser without the addon. You might give it a quick look. https://mediahint.com/

The other one mentioned is Hola http://www.reddit.com/r/ireland/comments/176xvn/hola_unblocker_lets_you_access_the_bbc_iplayer/

They are just addons, so easy to remove if you don't like them.
