Best video card for my system?

Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield @ 2.4Ghz
GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L
Zalman 9700 CPU cooler
8 GB G.SKILL PC2 6400
Seagate Barracuda 250GB SATA
XFX HD-4870A-ZHDC XXX 1G
16x Plextor DVD Burner
COOLER MASTER Centurion 5 case
Antec True Power Trio TP3-550w PSU
WIN 7 64bit

My desktop is a bit dated. I recently reformatted, added ram, and Win 7 which really helped.

I'd like to get the best video card this mobo and system can utilize for gaming and graphics in general.

Thanks

Go to http://www.newegg.com and do some serious searching in that price range and then compare. You might be able to. Good luck.

You have a 256 bit card. You aren't going to find much better for under $100. Keep what you have. You would have to spend $150-200 to get a better card.
