Problems with Unity 3D and the kernal. Gnome is fine though. If you log in and get logged back out go to /home and rm .Xauthority. Don't use proprietary video drivers until you are sure your desktop will come up. I just went through this shit yesterday.

99% of the time that's fine, but there are some cases where that's definitely Not Fine.

Also, users of IP6 will no longer need an IP4 address in NetworkManager (this has been an irritation for some time).

Huh... also the default music player changed back to Rhythmbox. Why the **** can't Canonical make up their mind on this?

No I don't remember how to do this.
I use Ubuntu and its easy to do burn an ISO in it.
I think maybe go to Google and type in how to burn an ISO to disk with what ever version of windows you're using and you should be able to find the answer. Its been too long since I used windows that I just can't remember.
Make sure you did download the ISO. You should be able to find it in your download folder. Its possible that it didn't download and you have to try again.
Anyways hopefully someone with more windows knowledge will come to your rescue.

I made the switch to Linux several years ago and there is no way I'll ever go back to windows.

I didn't count them but I'd say there was a good 100 in the sack. Small ones this year mostly with a few nice sized ones thrown in for good measure.
we had a nice mess for supper last night and will have friends over tomorrow evening for a feast on morels and wild onions and eggs.
