Open Source alternatives to Dreamweaver?

I'm wondering if any open source alternatives to Dreamweaver out there? I am currently using jEdit, which is hugely useful but I feel like I'm doing far too much trial and error-style development and would love something that more easily helps me visualize things.

I'm using Mac OS 10.5.8, which I'm finding is hamstring me a bit with both Bluefish and Eclipse. Eclipse looks pretty nice though, so I'm hoping I can get it running.

very similar to eclipse, but it's supposed to be more geared for web programming.

I've also had to use Dreamweaver in the past and it left a lot to be desired.

What platform are you developing on and what languages are you using?
