Obama Approval Rating Skyrockets To 56% As GOP Faces Trump Led Collapse

politicususa

As the Republican Party nears a state of Trump led collapse, President Obama’s approval rating has reached its highest level since 2011.

The Washington Post reported on President Obama’s new approval rating high via the ABC News/Washington Post Poll:

The poll, conducted in the immediate aftermath of a massacre in Orlando that was perpetrated by a man who pledged allegiance to the Islamic State, showed Obama’s approval rating at 56 percent — its highest level in Post polling since May 2011, after the killing of Osama bin Laden.

Obama is more popular now than Republicans George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush in the waning months of their presidencies. Although Obama’s approval rating has not reached the level of former Democratic president Bill Clinton’s in 2000, his standing suggests that he could be a relatively effective surrogate for Hillary Clinton on the campaign trail.

After the Orlando terror attacks, President Obama’s approval ratings went up while Donald Trump’s poll numbers dropped. The voters are paying attention, and they are appreciating the job that Obama is doing for the country more by the day.

Based on the favorability numbers for both candidates, it seems that many people would prefer to keep Obama over electing either of the candidates we have. I'm coming around to being (sorta kinda) excited about Hillary, but if we could just keep the president we have I'd be elated. I'm really going to miss him. Damn 22nd amendment!

A bit of a shameless self-promotion, but I made it to start a "movement" to repeal the 22nd. Mostly for fun, because it's way too late to actually do anything, not that the GOP would ever consider it.

But, closer to the elections our friendly neighborhood GOP will come out with guns blazing against Pres O, HRC and all Democrats by way of our trusted corporate media.

Republican party. Those high numbers will also serve Hillary on the campaign trail, he will excite the crowds. I do not see any downfalls with Hillary following him in the Oval office and she will not be inheriting the crap President Obama received.
