It breaks my heart, that we had to fight for our right to be safe from harm and injustice. That said I am filled with joy today.

6. Beautiful! Seeing page 18 of the act - civil rights and non discrimination - made me weep

tears of happiness that this piece of progressive legislation is now the law.

Hats off to the President, Vice President and congressional democrats.

And this passed in the face of so much GOP obstruction. Remarkable.

I am thrilled and elated that this is now law. Way overdue in my opinion. I love the photographs, especially the looks on the faces of the onlookers. Priceless. Makes me want to cry. The women of this country put their faith in this President and he has not, and WILL NOT, let us down! We don't want to go back. We are making strides, moving "FORWARD" and President Obama is with us. Shame on all the Republicans who tried to block this. A great day for women and another great accomplishment for the Obama administration. Makes me so proud of my vote!
