Fans of the CBS game show The Price Is Right were treated to an awkward moment on Tuesdays episode, when a wheelchair-bound contestant made a correct guess and was awarded a prize that doesnt seem to be of much use to her: A treadmill.
The cringe-worthy exchange came during the shows One Right Price segment. The game presents a contestant with two potential prizes, awarding both of them if the contestant correctly guesses which price goes with which prize.
The contestant, Danielle, had just won a spot on the stage by making the closest guess to the price of one prize, when she was presented with two more prizes: A sauna and a treadmill.

Happens. Prizes are set ahead of time.

(34,195 posts)Back in the 1950s my mother won a toaster oven at a grocery store.
She didn't realize that she'd signed up for a drawing. (Don't know what she was thinking)
She was so religious that she had to ask our minister if it would be sinful to accept the toaster.
We got the toaster.

I grew up in rural PA. When I was about 23 I moved out of state for a new job and got an apartment with 4 other coworkers.
One was Jewish. (plus one black, and one gay)
He introduced me to my first bagel (as well as cream cheese & lox).
I've been hooked on bagels and cream cheese for 45 years.
