Jogger gets run over by deer

Police are trying to identify a man struck by three deer and critically injured. Battle Creek Police Sgt. Martin Brown said the man was walking or jogging about 1 p.m. when several deer began to cross in front of him. Witnesses said the man waited for several of the deer but did not see three more following and was struck and knocked down.

3. Oh, er, dear.

I'll be honest--my crappy eyes initially read "JAGGER gets run over by deer" and I was hoping for an amusing photo of a deer-beaten Sir Mick, along with a wet-hennish remark from him about deer and pain and so forth.

Then, I read some poor fart actually got run over by the doggone deer and got seriously hurt. My fun factor is greatly diminished and I hope the guy makes a full recovery.

Doggone it, I liked the "Jagger" scenario much better! Oh well...
