Georgia Man Burns Down Neighbor's House Over Unkempt Lawn

Georgia Man Burns Down Neighbor's House Over Unkempt Lawn

A Metro Atlanta man is being sought by police after he allegedly set fire to his neighbor's house over the state of his lawn.

Authorities in Cartersville are warning that 58-year-old Phillip Roger Bennett has a criminal past, and should be considered armed and dangerous.

According to Bennett's neighbor, Marty Corbitt, the whole thing started about a week ago, when Bennett showed up at his home to complain about the unkempt grass.

"Slapped me across the face and said, 'Mow your grass," Corbitt told 11Alive. "My grass was too tall for him. I was going to cut it today, and then he set my house on fire."

Bennett should have just set the lawn on fire, it looks dry enough. Seriously, what an asshole, Corbitt should have called the police when he slapped him, WTF.

Really??? Kinda hard to believe!

I have a few of those neighbors, and I don't give a crap---although I wish that they kept the yards in better shape. But it does not reflect poorly on me.

You keep us entertained, Initech.....I don't often post, but know that you are appreciated.
