Crumpsall, England: man dead after injury while breaking into law office

In Crumpsall, England, a burglar was found dead outside a law office. He had apparently injured himself and bled to death during a break-in attempt. Although the burglary happened in April, the inquest concluded this week.

Home Office pathologist Dr Philip Lumb said Mr Clarke had a gaping wound on his right leg and another large wound on his right thigh. The pattern of injuries suggested he had been injured while kicking the glass panel.

Tests showed traces of cocaine, cannabis and alcohol in his body.

Hmmm--surprise, surprise....maybe he was so intoxicated he didn't realize how bad off he was.
