Remember when...

... the left's indignation was focussed mostly on the Tea Party and later all Republican stone walling, so it became impossible to do anything good? What makes us think that providing our own version of the Tea Party and invoking idealogical purity will make it any easier to do anything good?

I have serious doubts that these people who are so willing to trash everything about the system, the party, the way primaries are run and even the candidates, is right out of a Rovian playbook. Every smear, lie and innuendo that has been promoted by the republican party is on display here daily and by people who I thought were a lot smarter than that. They will go back to their stunted ideology when the party is over and they won't be calling themselves Democrats or Independents. I've never really understood the Independent ideology. Voting for a republican has never, NEVER been an option for me at any level.
